Welcome

Welcome to Valentine Arabians. We are located 12 miles North East of downtown Ft. Collins , CO . We are a small 35 acres breeding farm. Our breeding program is based on having a few exceptional broodmares that can be crossed with outstanding stallions. Our goal is to breed beautiful, versatile and athletic Arabian horses that can produce future generations of equal or better quality. Both genotype and phenotype weight heavily in our breeding decisions and stallion selection.

Farm News

Our ranch is still a work in process. However, it is complete enough to have all our horses home. It is wonderful to look out the windows and see our horses grazing and playing in the pastures. Our next projects are a hay barn and an indoor arena.

We had three foals in 2005. We are very pleased with all of them. They are all excellent. We had an outstanding colt by World Champion Jr. Stallion and twice US National Champion Jr. Stallion, *Marwan Al Shaqab. We had two exceptional fillies by US National Champion Futurity Colt and US Reserve National Champion Jr. Stallion Pyro Thyme SA. Both fillies by Pyro Thyme SA have nine crosses to the immortal *Bask.

The colt is out of our Top Ten Jr. Mare, Cinnamon Candy V. His name is CimarronVLA. He has it all – structure, movement and looks. He is already a Jr. Champion. He was the Colorado Futurity Jr. Champion Colt for 2005 at five months old. He is for sale.

One of the Pyro Thyme SA fillies is out of our Le Fire daughter, Le Fire princess. Le Fire Princess is also the dam of our Baske Afire colt Afire Prince VLA. The new filly’s name is Pyro Princess VLA. She is truly exceptional. She is inky black and beautiful. She has a long upright neck, is a very good mover and has lots of snort and blow like her mother and half brother “Prince.” She is also for sale.

The other Pyro Thyme SA filly is out of our champion Magnum Psyche daughter, Psylver Psyche VF. Her name is Psylver Thyme VLA. She is also truly exceptional. She will be gray like her mother and has no white markings. She has all the excellent qualities of both her sire and dam. She is very pretty, leggy and looks like a little deer. When she matures she will be hard to beat in the halter ring. She is also for sale.
